Is it safe to use my computer?

It's very irritating... I type in something, anything on Google images and click on a picture I want to see better, and lightning quick my browser closes on me. I say that there's a 50% chance of it happen with any picture I click. I have WOT, and it tells me that the pictures are green (safe), so what's wrong with my browser? I also have NoScript, but I doubt it's the one forcing Firefox to close. I really doubt that one in every 3 pictures I click have viruses. It would be impossible.
